By accessing and using HelloDocxToPdf ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
HelloDocxToPdf provides an online document conversion service that allows users to convert Microsoft Word documents (.docx) to PDF format. The service is available both as a free tier with limitations and as paid subscription plans with enhanced features.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or convert files containing illegal content
- Violate any intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Abuse the service through excessive automated requests
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes where required.
5.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
5.3 Refunds
Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
5.4 Credits
Conversion credits are included with paid plans and reset monthly. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the documents you upload and convert. HelloDocxToPdf does not claim any ownership over your files. We only process your files to provide the conversion service and delete them immediately after processing.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloDocxToPdf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free or that the output will meet your specific requirements.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
